Beck & Stone is a consulting firm at the intersection of media and technology. We connect thinkers, dreamers, and institutions to American culture through the design of useful software and compelling brands.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Lead to join our, fully-remote team growing team. In this role, you are the executional lead for our campaigns and own the delivering of projects successfully, going far beyond “on time and on budget.” With an aptitude for technology and a passion for beautiful advertising, whether it be in a newsfeed or on a newsstand, a website or a magazine, you approach client business problems with strategic thinking. By collaborating closely with strategists, designers, and engineers, your driving force is to deliver amazing results. You are a servant leader who is comfortable in a variety of professional situations where you hold yourself with tact and poise. Your attention to detail means that nothing gets by you: you catch what others miss and are not timid to call attention to it.

The successful candidate will have several years of agency or startup experience and brings an established track record launching live products and campaigns out into the world. This is a permanent, full-time, salaried role with benefits that is fully-remote with frequent travel.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Produce small- to medium-scale creative and projects by working with clients, agency, and vendor teams to manage deliverables, budgets, and schedules.

  • Manage an integrated team of three to five creatives, consultants, and engineers.

  • Creation of documentation such as functional requirements and specifications, production alignment memos, and draft meeting notes with actionable steps for clients and internal teams.

  • Report weekly to executives on dependencies that affect agency and project health such as shifting invoicing schedules or resourcing needs, and drafting and servicing project amendments when appropriate.

  • Develop and deepen client relationships alongside executive leadership.

Your experience should show that:

  • You have diverse production experience and have developed project management skills needed to gracefully produce single projects or ongoing campaigns for diverse clients and industries.

  • You’re a natural leader and an active collaborator who can inspire teammates in multiple disciplines, speak the language of strategy, design, and engineering, and deliver actionable direction that elevates performance. You also have experience managing and growing client relationships to great success.

  • You’re an organized presenter and natural facilitator capable of communicating complex ideas to very different audiences. You inspire confidence in client executives and colleagues alike and serve as a stress reducer and proactive connector in pressure-filled situations.

  • You’re an innovative problem-solver and creative thinker, delivering tangible solutions both for mid-stream projects and new possibilities. You are able to identify, prioritize, and leverage strategic opportunities as they arise within your projects.

Good candidates have:

  • 3+ years’ experience at a design studio or advertising agency.

  • Portfolio samples of client success.

  • Experience with digital communication and project management tools such as Slack, Asana, and Zoom.

  • Fluency in Keynote or Google Slides for crafting your own presentations.

Great candidates have:

  • Certifications with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce, Pardot, and HubSpot or similar digital marketing tools.

  • Experience defining KPIs in theory and measuring them in practice using digital tools.

  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, or other graphic design tools.

  • Personal interests in cultural reading, academia, political theory, public intellectualism, or fine arts that connects with our selective and intelligent clients.
